Add LED light therapy to any service
LED light therapy is non-invasive and helps to improve the skin.
LED light therapy uses various wavelengths that correspond to different visible colors. Each color penetrates the skin at different depths. The wavelengths are measured in nanometers (nm).
Blue light (400-495nm) affects the uppermost layer of the skin, called the epidermis, and will penetrate less than 1mm. The blue light is great for acne.
Yellow light (570-590nm) penetrates deeper .5-2mm and can reach the upper layer of the dermis, which is below the epidermis. Yellow light is good for, reducing redness, calming irritation and strengthening the skin’s barrier.
Red light (630-700 nm) travels further into the skin reaching 2-3mm into the dermis. Red light can help stimulate collagen production, improve skin texture, reduce inflammation, and promote wound healing
Near-infrared light (700-900 nm) penetrates the deepest at 5-10mm reaching the subcutaneous layers. This can help with pain management, wound healing, muscle recovery, and skin rejuvenation
